A Topeka man accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl made a plea bargain in the case Thursday.
48-year-old David Byrd worked at Gym Zone on Southeast Twenty-first in Topeka, where a teenager reported he assaulted her.
Thursday, Byrd pleaded no contest to an amended indecent liberties charge. A criminal restraint charge was dropped as part of the deal.
Shawnee County District Court Judge Evelyn Wilson set Byrd's sentencing for January 28.
