A former Topeka real estate agent is featured at this year's "Art for Kids" fundraiser.

Stan Metzger's work was shown at the Topeka Public School foundation's fundraiser Friday evening in the Grand Ballroom at the Ramada.

There was also a performance of select students and staff as the foundation's follies. Multi-visual art by students and local artists was up for silent auction also.

Proceeds from tonight's event are used for teacher and education grants, as well as operation of a summer academy for third, fourth, and fifth graders living in Shawnee County.
