The first round of advance ballots will be mailed Wednesday to Shawnee County Residents who have already applied for them.

Shawnee County elections Commissioner Elizabeth Ensley says more than 9,000 ballots will go out Wednesday.

She says it is a record amount to mailed on the first day of mailing prior to a general election.

If you wish to vote in advance, you can download an application from the County website, www.snco.us/election, or call the election office at 785-266-0285 and request an application.
