More testimony was heard Thursday in the murder trial of a man charged with dismembering his former roommate. Kevin Hernandez, 20, is accused of murdering 23-year-old Adam Hooks when the two lived together in Manhattan back in June of 2007.

Jurors were shown pictures for the first time of the gruesome murder of Hooks, according to KMAN radio. Two officers that worked the scene took the stand Thursday, testifying that they both removed a blue plastic tote and trash bags from the truck of Hook's trunk which contained his dismembered body according to KMAN.

Another focus of Thursday's testimony were the blood stain patterns and possible weapons used in the murder. The trial will continue on Tuesday.
