Lyon County expects to foot the entire bill for clean up from last month's flooding.

Our radio partner KVOE reports Lyon County Emergency Management Coordinator Rick Frevert says the flooding along the Cottonwood River caused $25,000 in damage. That is below the FEMA threshold of $100,000 required before they assist.

Though most of the damaged roads are passable now, it could be February before they are fully repaired says County Engineer Chip Woods. That is assuming there is no more flooding before then.
