Juvenille Sentenced for Killing Birds at Emporia Zoo
A juvenile was sentenced today for killing birds at the Emporia Zoo. According to our radio partner KVOE in Emporia, 13-year-old Angel Rodriguez will spend 30 days in juvenile custody then two years on probation. Sentencing for two other boys who have pleaded no contest in the case is set for October 23rd.

To those opposition of misty- You nosy people don't realize that it was a mistake and those kids need to learn their lesson at a young age so that it doesn't come to haunt them at an older age. In my opinion a baby is more important than some birds that got slaughtered. Wake up America and smell the coffee. These kids need to be given a second chance!!!!!

I really believe that the kids involved didn't realize the magnitude of their actions. I think swift and harsh punishment is in order, then let them learn the lesson about how animals feel too and then let them get on with their lives.

I didnt realize we were talking religion? I thought the subject was about the killings of the birds at the zoo. Stay on the subject people.
