Some are up, some are down.

Topeka-area school districts reported their enrollment numbers for the 2008-2009 school year Tuesday.

Topeka's USD 501 saw a jump of 90 students this year. District officials say most of those are at Topeka High School.

The Auburn-Washburn District reports their numbers are up by 40. Silver Lake and Kaw Valley (Rossville/St. Mary's) both say their overall numbers are up by 25 each, while the Seaman District reports an enrollment increase of 68.

The Shawnee Heights School District, meantime, reports an enrollment decrease. The district says it has 59 fewer students this year.
