Dale "Mad Dog" Messmer has made some bad choices in life. He has spent over a decade in prisons across four states for crimes ranging from drug smuggling to money laundering and weapons charges.

But Messmer eventually managed to turn his life around.

Now, the former Marine teaches students how to avoid making the same kinds of bad choices which plagued him earlier in life. After being medically/ honorably discharged from the Corps., Messmer went on to become a bounty hunter, pilot, and stuntman.

Tuesday, he brought his Straight Talk Outreach Program (S.T.O.P.) to Riley County High School, where he hoped to encourage students to avoid the same kind of choices he made.

Messmer has spoken before over a million students at 1,500 schools across the country.
