WICHITA, Kan. (AP) _ Two Wichita men are headed to the White
House.

President Bush tomorrow will host a reception in Washington,
D.C., for more than 650 volunteers and hold a ceremony on the South
Lawn recognizing the efforts of the USA Freedom Corps.

Among the honorees is Buddy Shannon and Alex Robinson. Bush has
already personally presented both Wichita men with their awards.

Shannon says receiving the president's Call to Service Award in
May has allowed him to speak to more people about volunteering and
increased membership in his volunteer group, Real Men, Real Heroes
of Wichita.

Robinson received his award for 17,000 hours of volunteer work
with the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Kansas.
