TOPEKA, Kan. - All Topeka Pizza Hut locations will donate a portion of food purchases made Friday, Aug. 29. when customers use a fundraiser voucher for the Sumner Restoration Project.

Pizza Hut partnered with Community First for the fundraiser.

Community First is raising money to purchase the former Sumner building and turn it into a private school.

Sandra Lassiter, a member of Community First, said, "This particular event is for those persons who have said, 'I really don't have money, what else can I do?' I tell them, participate in purchasing pizza and then those monies will go toward the Sumner School, or you can come and help with the cleanup because we want everyone to know that they're important, they're valuable."

You can ask for the vouchers before placing your order at Pizza Hut cash registers or print the attached document.
