DES MOINES, Iowa - The spotlight is following Governor Kathleen Sebelius (D-Kan.) as we draw near the weekend. That's when the question of who will be Barack Obama's choice for vice president is expected to be answered.

Sebelius was in Des Moines Thursday to speak with women activists about pay equity and Obama's economic plans. It was the first of her four events planned through the day in the Des Moines area.

Sebelius says her name on the short list for Obama's possible running mate is bringing great attention to the state of Kansas.

"It's wonderful that the work we've done in Kansas is being noticed in a very positive way," she said. "I'm always glad to see our state highlighted in a positive way and that feels very good. It feels a little bit like a, a little bit of an out of body experience. but I just keep doing my job and keep up every day."

Also being named as possible democratic vice president choices are Delaware Senator Joe Biden, Indiana Senator Evan Bayh and Virginia Governor Tim Kaine.
