Semi Truck Driver Killed When Hit By Train
A semi truck driver is killed Saturday morning when his rig was struck by a train. It happened around 11AM in Pratt near west K-61.

Pratt, KS (WIBW)-- A semi truck driver is killed Saturday morning when his rig was struck by a train. It happened around 11AM in Pratt near west K-61.
Bryan Chambers was driving his semi on eastbound northeast 50th street when Kansas Highway Patrol reports he failed to stop for a northbound train.
Chambers died at the scene, it's unknown why he didn't stop for the train.
The driver of the locomotive was not injured in the collision.

I drove by this accident a few hours after it happened and it gave me chills, it was not a pretty sight seeing the truck mangled by the train. I didn't see a trailer, I pray it wasn't a suicide attempt and I also pray for the engineers on the train, I'm sure it was a horrible sight for them to see !!
