SHAWNEE, Kan. (AP) _ Police in suburban Kansas City are trying to find a group of teenagers they believe videotaped themselves breaking into a facility and committing other vandalism and then posted the videos on the Internet.

Capt. Ron Copeland of the Shawnee police department said the teenagers were videotaped setting off a large firecracker attached to an aerosol can and breaking into a skateboard facility in Lawrence.

Copeland said "Some of these moron-skateboard types had done some things and recorded it on video and posted it on the YouTube Web site.''

Copeland said the crimes were "mainly vandalism,'' and that none of the teens had been identified. No arrests had been made early Wednesday, he said.

He said an officer had been checking YouTube as part of an investigation, but did not know what led him to the Web site.
