The Effingham community came together Wednesday night, taking a step forward from the fire that destroyed St. Ann's Church nearly three months ago.

The fire chief's wife caught this video of flames ripping through the century-old church in April.

The Atchison County Sheriff's Office says they are still investigating the fire and arson hasn't been ruled out.

What's left of the church has since been leveled and now the church is planning to rebuild. Members of the parrish met at a building committee meeting Wednesday night to talk about planning the reconstruction.

While it may make one of your sponsors happy, parish as in a geographical boundary for a church's membership is spelled not with two rs but one. And this gaffe appeared not only online, but on television.
