Politicians Courting Hispanic Voters; Topekans React Save Email Print

One of the fastest-growing segments of the population is the Hispanic community. Topeka is no different. And with that, local and national candidates are courting this important demographic, hoping to earn the votes of Hispanic voters.

It can be difficult for politicians, however. In some cases, they must try to reach Hispanic voters while also assuring voters they support protecting the borders, including the United States-Mexico border.

With Topeka celebrating Fiesta Mexicana, 13 News took a trip to Monday's V.I.P. dinner and asked Hispanic voters their thoughts on the issue. Click on the video to hear what they had to say, and leave a comment with your thoughts.
