KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) A man and woman thought to be a couple reported missing from Greenwood earlier this week have been found
dead in a Kansas City park.
The couple appeared to have been killed in a motorcycle accident, Kansas City police said.
Police Sgt. Jim Fuller said firefighters found the bodies Saturday in a thickly wooded area of Swope Park. He said it appeared the motorcycle they were on hit several trees and came to rest about 60 feet from where it left the roadway. The bodies were found nearby.
``Right now it just looks like the motorcycle was going too fast for the curve,'' Fuller said.
Fuller said the victims< identities had not been confirmed but that, if they were who police believed, the pair was last seen at a restaurant last week.
Christopher Arey, 41, and Kellie Kiefer, 45, went out on Arey's motorcycle that day but never returned, according to media reports.
