Topeka, KS (WIBW)--A wreck at the intersection of 21st Street and Gage in Topeka is being investigated as a possible assault.

Police responded to a wreck at 21st and Gage around 5 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

Police say one vehicle was turning left when another vehicle driving straight pulled out and made contact with the turning vehicle. Witnesses on the scene told police the wreck appeared to be intentional.

The vehicle that had been traveling straight fled the scene without stopping.

Police say the wreck will be investigated to determine whether or not it was intentional. If the wreck is discovered to be an intentional act, the suspect from the car that fled the scene could be charged with aggravated battery.

You know what ... I am so tired of reading comments on the internet about people complaining about a spelling error. I used to run a phone directory office. It's pathetic I used to get calls saying the the word "street" was misspelled on page 412. Give me a break (412 pages and one spelling mistake). How many hundred pages does this site have ? You can think your cleaning it up with redevlopment, however it's still a CRAP NEIGHBORHOOD in a "LOW LIFE" town.
