A statewide group is working to make sure your opinions on health care are making it to the ears of Kansas lawmakers.
Kansas Health Consumer Coalition and Kansas Health Institute convened a meeting Friday to unveil what people in three dialogue meetings had to say about funding health care in Kansas.
What they found is that people want to help their fellow Kansans who can't afford coverage and they're willing to put some of their own money toward the cause.
The Health Consumer Coalition is training 22 people Saturday to hold community discussions. They plan to take the opinions and information gathered at the meetings to legislators.
