A radio station promotion tied up traffic in Kansas City Friday.

They offered gasoline for $1.04 a gallon to the first 104 customers.

Drivers detoured for a shot at the bargain.

So many that police shut it down after just 65 people filled up, saying the long lines were causing traffic problems.

Where is it any of KCPD's business to do anything about this but perform traffic control? HAs KC become a police state now?

Wish it was $1.04 all the time. Getting tired of the price gouging!
