The Topeka City Council won't take action until at least next week, but opinions were offered tonight on rezoning a section of 53rd and Wanamaker for a Brainstorm Development retail project.

The council reminded neighbors in the area that the council meeting was not a public hearing on the rezoning request, but only public comment.

Part of the flap is the process by which the zoning applications are considered.
Residents brought up a number of concerns about the size of the project and traffic flow problems there.

Sounds like their selling out to the developers and DON'T CARE about the HOMEOWNERS.
