The man accused of letting his girlfriend sit on a toilet so long she became stuck to the seat was in court Wednesday.

Kory McFarren of Ness City pleaded not guilty to charges of mistreatment of a dependant adult. He'll have a pre-trial hearing June 13th.

McFarren also faces a charge of lewd and lacivious acts for an unrelated incident. Neighbors reported to the Sheriff's Office that they saw him performing a sex act in front of his window.

Family members say the woman, McFarren's girlfriend, suffered serious injuries. McFarren says he tried to get her to leave the bathroom, but she was too fearful.
