Bartender Shot After Asking For ID is Identified
Police say a man shot and killed a bartender at a Kansas City, Kan., bar because she asked him for his ID.

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (AP) _ Police say a man shot and killed a bartender at a Kansas City, Kan., bar because she asked him for his ID.
The victim of the shooting early yesterday was 49-year-old Lori Reynolds. Police say the bar, called the Gossip Inn, had a firm policy of asking everyone for ID before serving drinks.
When Reynolds asked the man for his ID, he pulled out a gun and started shooting, hitting Reynolds several times. No one else was injured.
Bar owner Laura Maude says Reynolds had been a bartender for about seven years and was just following the rules when she asked for the ID.
The suspect is still at large.

Alcohol and idiots do not mix. My heart goes out to the family of the bartender.
