Governor Kathleen Sebelius has signed a bill honoring our veterans by memorializing seven highways in Kansas.

“Our state and nation have been shaped by those who were willing to risk their lives for our country,” Sebelius said. “These designations will remind all those who visit our state of the courage and sacrifice of our veterans.”

HB 2071 designates portions of seven highways as memorial highways. This bill would be effective upon its publication in the Statue Book.
