Lawrence High finds itself as an unlikely tandem to participate in championship games of the boys and girls finals in class 6-A. The Lawrence Lions defeated Olathe South 62 to 51. In the boys semi-final, Lawrence defeated Wichita Heights, and in all City League semi-final.. Wichita Southeast dropped Wichita East 61 to 56.
