Please stop what you are doing and take a moment to read this. Right now, there is more than one person reading this site who may have what it takes to save a little girl's life.

If you watch our newscast, you know her story Jessica Seidel has cancer and other conditions that require difficult treatment. Some of that treatment requires people to register their bone marrow for possible matching with Jessica. For this to be successful, many, many people must be checked.
Come to the Southwest YMCA, 3635 SW Chelsea, on January 28th between Noon and 6. Pay the nominal fee of $25 and have your bone marrow checked. All it takes is a quick swabbing of the mouth and you're done. You may be one of the people who holds the key to saving her life.
There are some medical restrictions and an age limit of 60. There is a short questionnaire to fill out beforehand that lets you know if you qualify to donate.
There's also a raffle for a Wii and an iTouch to help raise money for the family, but the bone marrow matches are most needed. The winners will be drawn at Washburn Rural Middle School Wednesday, Jan. 28.
Imagine if it were your child. Imagine if you needed others to help save your child's life.
We are running this appeal through Wednesday to let as many people as possible know about the need.
Let's fill the YMCA Wednesday.
