If you follow our sports reports, you'll know that nobody has a good a record in competitive junior or professional hockey as the Topeka RoadRunners.
The RoadRunners lead their league in points and have the best winning percentage of any team. Why are we blessed with such success? These hockey players are really good young men.
While playing the highest level of hockey they also volunteer for a variety of community service activities including the popular "Read with the RoadRunners"?
General Manager and Head Coach Scott Langer helped recruit those fine young men. But Topeka can be thankful for its success because of the passion and commitment of owner Mary Magdalene Lorang. Though sometimes controversial, she's always been caring and compassionate. Without her, we would have never had a chance at another hockey team in Topeka. Thank you Mary for all you've done.
The Road Runners have eight home games in the next three weeks. Have some fun and head to the Kansas Expocenter to see the best team in the North American Hockey League!
