What are you doing to make this holiday special? Beyond the family, the food and the friends, what are you doing that might really make this year unique?

I’ve got a suggestion, volunteer.

I know you are busy and work has pressures. Plus, there are so many fun things to do during the holidays.

Still, volunteer.

There are so many of our fellow citizens who need help. But, where?

Let me suggest the Topeka Rescue Mission. Thousands of people have turned around their lives by following its programs.

But the programs don’t work without volunteers.

If you want a safe, clean place to do great work by doing the little things that make a big difference, volunteer this holiday at the Topeka Rescue Mission. Volunteer by calling 354-1744.

I want to know what you think or if you have any other volunteering ideas. Send me an Email  del.icio.us   Google   Yahoo  digg
