Leonard Wayne Price pleaded guilty to felony murder in the April 2005 death of Topeka jewelry store founder Clarence David Boose.
Price still insists he was not the trigger-man in the murder.
Prosecutors say they may file additional charges in the case against Price's cousin, Allen Smith.
Boose, started David's Jewelers downtown, was gunned down when he walked in on a burglary at his home in Lecompton.
