Trial Scheduled For Man Accused Of Abusing Six-Year-Old
An October trial is scheduled for an eastern Kansas man accused of sexually abusing a six-year-old girl.

An October trial is scheduled for an eastern Kansas man accused of sexually abusing a six-year-old girl.

Kenneth Waddell of Americus is charged with ten counts of sexual abuse. The 57-year-old is accused of abusing the girl over a two-year span ending this February.

A hearing is scheduled August 19th to deal with several pre-trial motions by prosecutors and the defense. The trial is scheduled for October sixth.

Prosecutors want evidence from other alleged victims included in the trial. Defense attorneys have requested a psychological evaluation of the victim.
