The yearly American Legion gathering celebrating the brotherhood of veterans from Vietnam welcomes a traveling tribute this year.

Two displays honoring fallen Vietnam soldiers, as well as the soldiers who lost their lives in Iraq, Iraqi Freedom, and Afghanistan stand tall in the El Dorado State Park. This is the first time these tributes have graced events at the yearly American Legion celebration.

This traveling tribute is giving veterans and families of fallen soldiers the opportunity to locate the names of their loved ones, honor them, and thank them for fighting to protect this country and our freedoms.

The display will be standing in El Dorado through the weekend. First thing Monday, it will make the journey to a new city where new people will honor the fallen heroes.

Thank you for bringing light to this memorial to our fallen heros. They deserve this recognition for thier selfless acts to keep America strong and free. I thank all my brothers and sisters; past, present, and future; living or fallen; for their service. They will never be forgoten. I am honored to be a vetran. May the Creator watch over them all.

I was honored and humbled to be a part of your broadcast on the Viet Nam's Vets Reunion in El Doredo. Thankyou from myself and all of the veterens that were there for your coverage of the event. It helped to shed some light on our vets who are here and those who did not return. THANKYOU AND MAY GOD BLESS...
