When a tornado wipes out your entire town, you are likely to have lots of questions about the science behind the storm. Saturday, meteorologists from the National Weather Service broke down piece-by-piece what happened that night last May.

They detailed each specific storm cell circulating the area, showing radar pictures as the storm grew bigger and bigger. The black and white facts made it a little easier for many Greensburg residents to understand what it was they lived through.

"We know how powerful it was underneath it, but it's still amazing to hear what they say from a meteorological aspect," said Greensburg Chamber of Commerce President Steve Kirk.

"People will be studying this storm and writing papers on it for years. It will be sliced and diced and dissected for years to come," said National Weather Service meteorologist Larry Ruthi.

The presentation also included first-hand accounts from storm chasers who watched as the tornado hit.

Of course, plenty more events scheduled for Sunday, including a presentation and dedication of the Victims Memorial and a speech by President Bush during Greensburg's high school graduation.
