Two people remain in critical condition after a major crash in Butler County Saturday. The crash happened near Potwin on K-196 Highway just after noon.

Officials say a pickup truck carrying five people crossed the center line and in a "near head-on" collision, hit a car carrying two people.

The two people in the car were pinned for close to an hour before being airlifted to a Wichita hospital. None of the victim's names have been released, but hospital officials in Wichita say two remain in critical condition while five others have minor injuries.
