Iuka residents are back home this morning, after an anhydrous ammonia leak forced them to evacuate last night.

The Pratt Country Sheriff's Department asked residents living east of Van Buren St. in Iuka, KS to evacuate their homes. A leak that was thought to be under control, started leaking again at about 9 p.m.

Residents were asked to stay with family or friends. A shelter was set up at the Pratt Community Center in Pratt. The Red Cross set up there to help evacuated residents.
