A 29-year-old Reno County man is accused of 15 different sex offenses with six different children.

Jared Race was charged in Reno County District Court Friday afternoon for 6 counts of Aggravated Indecent Liberties with a Child, 7 counts Aggravated Criminal Sodomy and 2 counts of Rape. The cases involved 6 different children from the ages of 5 - 10 years and took place at homes in Langdon and in Hutchinson.

Authorities say the crimes occurred from May 2006 through July 2007.

The initial report was made by a child to an adult. Authorities say Race absconded to Oklahoma in August. He was found one week later and returned to the Hutchinson Correctional Facility on a parole violation from a 15-year-old Aggravated Robbery / Kidnapping and Attempted Aggravated Escape from Custody case.

On Friday, Race was booked into the Reno County Jail on a $1 million bond. He is being transferred back to the Hutch Correctional Facility where he was scheduled to be released from on Nov 21st on his Parole Violation.

Race was acquainted with family of a few of the victims.
