TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- A war of words is escalating between a longtime Kansas senator and his primary challenger.
Sen. Pat Roberts (R-KS) released a statement on Friday questioning the medical ethics of Dr. Milton Wolf. In it, Roberts camp claims Wolf faces an serious ethics issue over his posting of patient X-rays to the internet. It also calls Wolf's resume vague, noting that it fails to mention his affiliation with a Texas company selling health supplements over the internet in the late 90's.
It goes on to say even though his campaign biography hits the high points, it reveals gaps in his life and activities.
Wolf responded by saying the state election committee will be meeting on Monday to decide if Roberts is eligible to run for U.S. Senate in Kansas.
Wolf is claiming Roberts lives in Virginia and has not been a Kansas resident for years.
