Tuesday night the Topeka City Council hopes to figure out what to do with the county wide half-cent sales tax to be included in the ballot before the August 1st deadline.
The City Council will hold a special session to vote on proposals and amendments to match what the county suggests should be done with extending the half-cent sales tax.
A week ago the council session ended with no resolution, leaving in the air a debate of whether the city should prioritize economic development or quality of life issues and the capital projects that go with it.
Tonight's special session will be held in the Topeka City Council Chambers at 6 p.m.
