TOPEKA, KS (WIBW)-Shawnee County District Attorney Chad Taylor says he typically stays away from political endorsements, but with violent crime on the rise in the capitol city, he said today he wants public safety to be top priority.
The District Attorney this afternoon publicly endorsed retired public safety administrator and Democrat John Lamb for a seat on the Shawnee County Commission.
Taylor says Lamb has 35 years of public safety experience and knows the challenges that officers face daily within Shawnee County.
Opposing john lamb is current topeka city councilman and Republican Bob Archer.
