TOPEKA, Kan (WIBW)-- Street maintenance is the top priority for residents living in Topeka.
More than 1,500 votes were cast on how to allocate money in the city's 2015 budget.
Almost 400 people felt that street maintenance should be the biggest priority.
Code enforcement and bikeways were next, receiving about 200 votes each.
Water main replacements and Topeka Zoo enhancements rounded out the top five.
Jim Colson is scheduled to release the budget to council members on June 14th.
