(WIBW) - Voters in Pottawatomie County have a chance to get to know the people running for office.
The Pottawatomie County Republican Central Committee and the Women’s Group are co-hosting a "Meet the Candidates" event at 1:30 pm Sunday at Rock Creek High School in Flush. People can meet candidates for area offices and will have a chance to ask them questions about the issues.
The groups say the event is especially important in the face of redistricting, where some people might have new representatives.
