TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- The Kansas Supreme Court has named Heather Smith as the new clerk of the Appellate Courts beginning June 9.
Smith will replace Carol Green, who is retiring after more than two decades in the position.
Smith has been the deputy clerk of the Indiana Supreme Appeals and Tax Court where she played a key roll in planning technology.
Smith will be responsible for planning and supervising administrative work related to the operation of both the State Supreme Court and the Court of Appeals.
