Hello The House! Performance At Kaw Mission State Historic Site

COUNCIL GROVE, Kan. (WIBW)— The Kansas Historical Society announced that Hello the House! will be presented 2 p.m. Sunday, February 9, at Kaw Mission State Historic Site. The dramatic play is about Shawnee Indian Mission founder the Reverend Thomas Johnson on the night he was murdered in 1865.

Following the performance, Anita Faddis, site administrator of Shawnee Indian Mission State Historic Site, will present the history of the Shawnee mission.

The performance follows the annual general membership meeting of the Friends of Kaw Heritage, Inc.

Kaw Mission State Historic Site is one of 16 state historic sites operated by the Kansas Historical Society. Admission is $3 adults, $1 students. Kansas Historical Foundation members and children five and younger admitted free. Kaw Mission State Historic Site is located at 500 N. Mission Street, Council Grove.
