Topeka – Kansas Governor Sam Brownback announced today he has accepted the invitation of Kansas House of Representatives Speaker-Elect Ray Merrick (R-Stilwell) and Kansas Senate President-Elect Susan Wagle (R-Wichita) to deliver his 2013 State of the State address to the Kansas Legislature in the House Chamber on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 6:30 P.M.
In accordance with Section 5 of Article 1 of the Kansas Constitution, the governor provides to the Legislature information on the condition of the State.
The State of the State address will be televised live by KPTS-TV and other Kansas television and radio stations.
This will be the 131st Governor’s State of the State address.
