Conservative PAC Plans Independence Day Telethon
(WIBW) - Conservatives bill it as their way to celebrate America's freedom.
The political action committee called The Campaign to Defeat Barack Obama is sponsoring a "Defeat Barack Obama Telethon." The five-hour event will be held July 4 and originate from Las Vegas radio station KDWN-AM.
The event will have a live audio stream at www.kdwn.com. People also can watch a live video broadcast on UStream at www.ustream.tv/channel/july-4-defeat-obama-telethon.
Former GOP Presidential candidate Herman Cain, actor Jackie Mason and Tea Party Express Chairman Amy Kremer are among those taking part.
The group hopes to raise $250,000 for their election efforts.
