Voters in the Valley Falls school district have given the thumbs up to improvements for their schools.
A $3.5 million bond issue passed Tuesday by a vote of 754 yes to 280 no. The money will go toward a second gymnasium, a vocational-tech building, classrooms and a fitness center.
Some voters were concerned about the property tax increase the bond would mean.
Superintendent David Grove says board members will talk about the next steps at their meeting Monday.
