TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) _ The state's highest court has unsealed an abortion clinic's operators lawsuit against Johnson County District Attorney Phill Kline.
Planned Parenthood is trying to force Kline to return medical records in his possession.
Kline obtained the records when he was attorney general, before he became district attorney.
Planned Parenthood also wants the state's highest court to hold Kline in contempt, alleging he violated a previous order dealing with medical records, which he denies. It filed its lawsuit in June 2007.
The attorney general's office filed its own lawsuit, also seeking the return of medical records to Planned Parenthood.
The court unsealed both lawsuits Friday.
Arguments in both cases are scheduled for June 12.
