John Edwards says he respects his former running mate's decision to endorse Barack Obama in 2008. Senator John Kerry, who lost the last election to President Bush, traveled to South Carolina to embrace Obama, and his campaign, two weeks before their states voters go to the polls.

An invigorated John McCain is going head to head with his competitors in Myrtle Beach tonight, in the latest GOP debate. The Arizona senator was pushed into the front runner spot after Tuesday's victory in New Hampshire. Three rivals, Rudy Giuliani, Fred Thompson and Ron Paul are looking to shore up their campaigns in the crucial debate.
