Sebelius Still Evaluating A.G. Candidates

TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) _ Governor Sebelius says she is not appointing
a new attorney general this week.

Some fellow Democrats had been speculating that Sebelius would
make the appointment before the legislative session, which starts
Monday.

Attorney General Paul Morrison is embroiled in a sex scandal and
plans to leave office January 31st.

But Sebelius told reporters today that there will be no
appointment this week. She also declined to discuss who she is
considering for the job -- saying it would be unfair to the
candidates.
