Senator Joseph Biden, citing his poor showing in Thursday night's Iowa caucuses, announced he's giving up his bid for the White House. The veteran Senator from Delaware finished with 0% in the Iowa tallies last night. He was in the basement along with Christopher Dodd, Bill Richardson and Dennis Kucinich. The Hartford Courant newspaper also reported Thursday night that Connecticut Senator Dodd is dropping out of the competition. He had even rented a home in Des Moines allowing his wife and daughters to campaign in Iowa.
The campaign now moves on to New Hampshire after Mike Huckabee and Barack Obama scored solid wins in Iowa last night. The Democratic 1-2-3 finish went to Obama, Hillary Clinton, then John Edwards, each tallying about one-third of the vote.
