For the 6th year in a row, Hillary Clinton was named the most admired woman in the world, according to a Gallup opinion poll released Wednesday. She was chosen by 18% of the people surveyed, her highest standing since 2000.
Clinton campaign manager Patti Solis Doyle says, "Americans know Hillary has been fighting for children and families for 35 years. They admire her commitment and strength to make change."
The 2007 survey also marked the 12th time Clinton has been named the world's most admired woman. She's finished 1st or 2nd in each of the last 15 years. Gallup has asked questions about the most admired man and woman in all but two years since 1948.
