Denver (CNN) -- He's been on the GOP ticket just three days and already Paul Ryan is helping raise money for the Republican Party and his presidential running mate Mitt Romney.

The vice presidential candidate will attend two private fund-raisers held at homes in the Denver area Monday evening, according to a Romney aide.

Ryan will also make a campaign stop before leaving the swing state. He'll hold a public event at a high school in nearby Lakewood.

The aide said 170 tickets were given to people who donated $2,500, $10,000 or $25,000 for the first private fund-raiser. More than 75 people were expected to attend the second one.

The money will go to the Victory Fund, a joint fund-raising committee between Romney's campaign and the Republican National Committee.

Romney has led an impressive effort filling his campaign coffers, breaking records and out-raising President Barack Obama and the Democratic National Committee three months in a row. Romney helped raise more than $100 million in June and July alone.

RNC Chairman Reince Priebus attended the Iowa State Fair with Ryan and then accompanied him on the chartered flight from Des Moines to Denver to attend the fundraisers. The Wisconsin native also joined Ryan for his homecoming rally with Romney in their home state Sunday evening.
